Tingley Home Services HVAC company installs mini-splits in Natick, MA, and offers a wide range of ductless options. You have the choice of cooling only or both heating and cooling. Mini-split systems are highly energy-efficient. Many of them have ENERGY STAR certification, which may make you eligible for various energy incentives. There are a wide range of advanced features to choose from as well. These include high MERV air filtration, programmable thermostats, dry mode, and more.
"They answer the phone, are very pleasant, professional and showed up the next day, before three other electricians even returned my calls. The two technicians they sent were professional, pleasant and did great, clean work."- Chuck O.
One of the more important decisions when it comes to ductless mini-splits is how many zones you need. Zones are the discrete cooling and, perhaps, heating areas within your home. If you only need one zone, a single-zone mini-split will be the more affordable option. Multi-zone systems support between one and typically eight indoor units. A multi-zone system also gives you the option to add more units later up to the limit. If you start with two zones, for instance, and decide later you want a third, you can add it.
Most ductless systems on the market include between two and four indoor units. You can add more indoor units as needed, either during the initial installation or later down the line. Wall-mounted units are the most common. They’re relatively small, and we can install them near the ceiling so that they’re out of the way. As needed or if preferred, you can mix and match other configurations, such as floor and ceiling-mounted.
We’ll generally install floor units in areas where there’s limited clearance. Common examples include finished basements and attics. There’s a wide range of options for ceiling installations. The cassette form factor is among the most popular. It allows for flush installations, often without any support upgrades. There are also protruding cassettes. These have four sides with a vent on each. They’re an excellent option in large rooms where a single wall unit won’t provide the needed airflow.
There are many great reasons to consider a mini-split for your house.
Quiet operation
Low operating costs
